It was not an idle request. "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly as I should, Col 4:2-4."  The Apostle Paul understood how important it was to be covered in prayer for the success of his ministry.

Houston Prays believes that every leader needs to be covered in prayer. This year we are working to identify models and tools you can use to build effective prayer teams. Our goal is to develop 100 personal prayer teams for pastors and leaders. We hope to see that goal enlarged to cover leaders across the city in the years to come.
